Hi!

I’m so excited to finally be able to catch y’all up! This past week I was at my World Race “Boot Camp”. If i am going to be completely honest i was very nervous. Nervous to meet my teammates. Nervous to sleep in a tent for four nights. Nervous to be taken completely out of my comfort zone. With all this said God did COMPLETELY take me out of my comfort zone, but I cannot be more grateful. I was stripped of all my basic comforts AKA running water, bathrooms, my bed, food i was used to, and my phone. This may sound miserable, but it was the best week of my life. God shattered what I thought I knew, and showed me that all I really need is him. I didn’t need all of these “necessities” to be happy. My Joy truly does come directly from Jesus, and it took everything being taken away to see this. Not to mention i have the BEST team mates/leaders ever, and I can’t wait to be reunited with them in September. They already feel like family.  Bootcamp only gave me a tiny taste of what these next 9 months are going to look like and I’m thrilled. With all this being said leaving is still a little strange to think about, but no longer scary. I know my Gods got me, and i know I’m never alone. Please keep me and my team in yalls prayers as we lead up to launch. Thank you guys so much!
